Aurum is a conceptual project inspired by organic and earthy aesthetics and driven by the everlasting fascination of the human kind with gold as the element. Praised by the ancients, the durability, beauty and rarity of this element, made it one of the most fascinating metals to work with and to this day we can't seem to escape it's allure. In this project I wanted to integrate the concept of gold into the flow and texture of the raw nature at it's core - intricate stone layers and marbles had been infused with an abundance of this raw gold texture, not to make it better, but to complete and consolidate. Further, the designs need very little intervention, due to the high level of detail, only minimal text is necessary to create incredible designs...let the gold work it's magic.
