You don’t have to deal with keyframes at all, just insert an expression into your text
layer’s source value.

You only need to change one number to make the animation faster or slower. The trick
is that you can use any cursor; you just have to insert it into the expression. Moreover,
the cursor has two states, and if you like, you can animate it. It’s also possible to write
backward, simulating a deletion effect.

It’s a simple but professional expression that is essential for every motion designer.
